The company known for its innovative and cutting edge user experience doubled down on software as its shining star this June. Personally, I found this change of pace very refreshing. Let me explain why.
The move back towards content on clean, white UI is a breath of fresh air compared to the dark and heavy gradient backgrounds of three years ago. Companies like Starbucks and McDonalds are placing content on nice clean backgrounds, taking a cue from the print industry and using magazine layouts as inspiration. This time-tested best practice is better for accessibility standards, easier on the eyes when reading, and also makes images and call to action buttons stand out.

Gabbi started at our sister company, Marxent almost 4 years ago, as an intern. She quickly grew her skills and has become a shining example of how we get $hit done each day with flexibility, skill, and superior customer delivery.
Jessi started at our sister company, Marxent almost 4 years ago, as a Sr. User Experience Designer. Her role transitioned from building UX experiences for all products for the Retail Division to being our Customer Experience Lead, and now our Channel Lead.
Paul started at our sister company, Marxent 5 years ago, as a Sr. Software Engineer. His role transitioned from building web and mobile experiences for most of products in the Retail Division to being our VP of IT. In 2017 the Retail Division of Marxent became its own company, Magnetic Mobile!
Trace started at our sister company, Marxent 4 years ago, as a Front-End Developer. His role transitioned from building HTML/CSS for all products for the Retail Division to be our Lead Designer.
Ang started at our sister company, Marxent almost 3 years ago, as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Her role transitioned from testing all products for the Retail Division to leading our QA team.
