Full Stack Web Developer

We are on the hunt for a Full Stack Developer to join our development team at Magnetic Mobile, Dayton's best enterprise mobile solution provider. As a member of our growing team in the Dayton-Cincinnati Metro areas, the Magnetic Web Developer will provide customer facing solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience and proven business development, communication, collaboration, and analytical capabilities.

In an average week you can expect to:

  • Program 50 - 80% of the day
  • Intermediate knowledge in:
    • C#
    • ASP.Net/MVC
    • REST Services/WebAPI
    • SQL
  • Work with the design and front-end teams to develop custom solution for our clients
  • Translate end-user requirements and use cases into an effective technical solutions
  • Experience in database development and architecture, specifically with Microsoft tools
  • Develop, create, document, and modify projects in various computer programs
  • Knowledge in Git or in a different source control with willingness to learn Git
  • Improve code quality through automation and performing code reviews
  • Think innovatively and contribute to overall product strategy
  • Communicate with and implement directions given by clients about business requirements, priorities, procedures, questions, etc. into product and code
  • Stay current on development technologies and make best practice recommendations for coding standards and solution choices
  • Operate with laptops, keyboards, mice, mobile devices, and tablets

  • Agile development knowledge

Job Specifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience is required
  • At least 2+ years of professional development experience as a web developer is required
  • Limited travel may be required for this position
  • This position is in an open (without cubicles) office facility in Dayton, OH.
